The EIS2 Panel

This EIS2 panel is represents the latest development. It has LCD monitors with a slightly larger display area. The classic EIS1 panel is also available. Please note that this is actually the only A330 panel already upgraded to XP9 with enlarged format. XP8 panels come at 1.024 x 1.024 pixel only.

The pictures show the cockpit of the A330-343X with Rolls Royce Trent 772 Engines. - This panel is also the basis for the MRTT.

These pictures show the Standby Glas-PFD

Some Aircraft already have the new Standby Glas Primary Flight Display (e.g. above the A333-RR-Lufthansa), while others retain the 3 classic round Standby Instruments (below, e.g. the A332-RR Emirates and A333-RR-Air Canada)

...to the right and/or down.

This is the is the most advanced A330 panel available with EIS2 (LCD monitors) and with a small Multi-Purpose Primary Flight Display in place of the three classic standby instruments.

The Pratt & Whitney (left) and General Electric (right) engine controls are slightly different.

The FUEL page appears automatically once the landing gear is retracted, indicating the fuel quantities of all tanks, as well as the total fuel on board. The A330 has four wing tanks and a trim tank located in the vertical stabilizer, the A330-200 has an additional center tank.

The autopilot follows the principles of Airbus Industrie as close as x-plane® permits. It demands for a brief study of the manual.

In case the hydraulic system of the landing gear should fail, don't panic! You may extend it by gravity.

Enlarged pop-up instruments faciliate handling of several systems.
