The XP10 version comes with auto-pitch-trim, realistic engine start procedure, new APU push buttons, and highly detailed, spinning engine fans and thrust reversers (the previous plugin-driven animation has gone). The taxi aid camera can now display selectively on each PFD and the SD.

The A340-600 comes with a wide 2D panel, integrating the almost complete OH-Panel and Center Pedestal and covering all screen resolutions X-Plane® does support. Exterior paint is in 2.048 pixel format, improving resolution of windows, signes and letters tremendousely. The flight model has been improved, in-flight and ground spoilers work authentically, Flap & Slat positions have numeric indication, engine fire protection, hydraulic, electric, air, and other systems have been modeled in detail. This is the longest airliner ever built, even longer than the A380. The differences to the A340-500 are mainly the much longer fuselage, slightly more powerful engines and a smaller fuel capacity. Due to it's increased payload capacity, this aircraft is much more economic than the A340-500 and therefore it is flown by numerous airlines from all over the world. - The package for X-Plane® comes with the Lufthansa as a stand alone version due to technical differences, plus a second package for all other liveries.
