China Southern is the first Chinese airline to operate an A380. It has become the only A380 to serve on a national route, between Beijing and Guangzhou (near Hongkong), which is a distance of only a little more than 2,000km. This is not what the plane has been designed for. So an economical desaster was the logical consequence, the more as only 506 passenger seats are installed. - Only a few years later, China Southern sold their A380 fleet and blamed Airbus to have build an inefficient aircraft...
